PASTOR MISAEL

Hello, God bless you, I am Pastor Misael Ortiz Guevara from the community of Galician Mazapil Zacatecas. I want to share a little of my testimony. I had the blessing of being born in a home where God was known. My mother taught me about Jesus as a child. When I reached adolescence, like all young people, soccer caught my attention. My classmates did not know about Jesus. I remember that when I was 14 years old, I understood that Jesus loved me and that he had given his life for me. I received Jesus in my heart, I kept struggling to attend church. I remember when I was 16 years old a pastor who is now my father-in-law would read a psalm and pray and I did not want to go when he came to church, but I thank my parents who didn’t leave me at home and took me to church even though I didn’t want to and that’s how God called me to His ministry. Over time, the brothers in charge of the church had to leave to look for work and the church was left without a pastor. Since I already participated with scripture reading and prayer, I already started opening the church, then one of my sisters went to the city of Saltillo to a biblical institute to prepare as a children’s teacher and when she returned, she gave me classes in the community. I prepared myself more and more each day, then a pastor from Monterrey brought a course to prepare pastors and I took it for 2 years and I have already served God for 19 years in the MONTE SANTO BAPTIST CHURCH. God has given us help and now we have 2 more missions in San Rafael and Sabana Grande. When we met the brothers of the SER group everything changed. I have been supported by this group for 6 years and I thank them from all my heart because they have helped us grow and expand the work, with SER´s support we are in communities where the economy is very low but God has not left us. Now with the support of the group we have built 2 churches, one in San Rafael and another in Pancho Villa where Pastor Juan Reyes is pastoring. This past month, we began the construction in the village of Savannah Grande, pray as we finish it. The next project is to start a ministry in the the community of San Antonio. We have already visited it and we had a very good response, only that it is more expensive to be able to spread out. Let us pray that God provides to go there and start a new ministry. Well brothers to all those who support even without knowing us, Thanks. I want to take this opportunity to thank the brothers Ernesto and Hilda for their great work and dedication to this group also my wife Eva and my son Misael who are my team in this work that God has entrusted to me. Pray for this servant that God gives me His grace and much desire to continue serving and preparing others to serve our savior Jesus Christ. We send a cordial greeting to all those who can read these words. I know that if you support us, it is because you love God.

PASTOR SIMON

In my youth, I was dedicated to sports. One day after my football game ended, a teammate, who is currently my pastor: Brother Jesús Campos (Bro. Chuy) began to talk to me about God. Sunday after Sunday at the end of the match about salvation. I decided to go to church, and every day I attended I felt a change in myself; but also, in the life of my family. And one day I decided to receive Jesus Christ as my Savior. I believe that it was the best decision of my life. Today I remain faithful in God’s way and I do not regret giving my life to God. I already have 21 years of being Saved for the glory and honor of Him.

I currently have many years of being part of the S.E.R. ministry. The S.E.R group has been a great blessing for me and my family. Many families and especially children have been blessed as there are many needs in our communities. With the help of Grupo S.E.R we have been able to expand to new locations. I preach the word of God to everyone without ceasing. Some of the blessings that help ministries are: Bibles, tracts, food, toys, shoes, school supplies. Grupo S.E.R has also built churches.

MY VISION

With the help of God and the support of Grupo S.E.R. My purpose is to take the gospel to all surrounding communities and continue blessing more families. Right now, we are ministering in 4 locations: El Rodeo, El Jazmin, El Tanque Viejo and La Tortuga. God opened another place called El Mimbre, we have been invited to preach in this town. Thank God that he put Grupo S.E.R. on our way.

PASTOR NAVOR

The Brazilar Ministry. Alamo Temapache Municipality, Veracruz. I am originally from Saltillo, Coahuila where God found me. I was saved on March 25, 1992. In a rural community. God called me to the ministry in 2012. My whole family and I went to live in this community of El Brazilar, where we have been sharing the word of God. This is how we also started working with children when we met Grupo S.E.R. We thank God for sending us bro. Ernesto who has been a great blessing to us. S.E.R Group built a church, laundry, baths at this location. Every month we receive a monthly financial payment. It is also worth mentioning the food box program for those most in need.

My vision is to reach the communities around here through the gospel.

PASTOR ARMANDO                                                            PASTOR PASCUAL

God bless you brothers. Here I share a little of my testimony.  Praying first that God gets the glory. Praying in some way to be able to be a blessing and also fulfill the objectives of the SER group. My name is Jesús Armando Moreno García and I was born on February 27, 1986. By His grace, God allowed me to be born in a Christian home, my parents Bro. Pascual Moreno and Sra. Dora Alicia García, guided me in the path of the Lord. At the age of 8 I received the Lord Jesus as my only and sufficient savior. I still remember well, my mother was the one who guided me to the feet of Christ, she began to speak to me while we were both sitting on the bed, and she explained how I could be saved, I remember very well that when she asked me to pray and that she would guide me, when I finished praying, she told me that she felt good. I felt the rest and forgiveness of God at a very young age. At the age of 16, God called me to the ministry, in a youth camp.  The next year when we were in the same camp, the word of God broke me. To tell the truth I do not remember the message. I only remember that it happened. I was in front during the invitation crying, a pastor approached and prayed for me and told me: Armando, you need to talk to your pastor about the decision you have made, and that’s how it was I talked to my dad during the camp it was announced that an institute would open in the city of Durango, and I decided to prepare myself to enter the ministry. At the age of 18 I entered the institute to prepare myself, and thank God I was able to finish it satisfactorily. At the institute they gave me the tools to serve in the church, both the work with the youth and children, as well as what I learned, it also allowed me to improve in music such as piano and guitar. At the age of 21 the church had a change in leadership. My father had spoken with the church that God was calling him to serve now in San Pablo. The church agreed and I just came from the institute so the brothers proposed me as pastor of the church, we met and prayed. On April 9th I became pastor of the MARANATHA BAPTIST CHURCH at the age of 21, so this year by the grace of God I celebrate 15 years as pastor of the church. Thanks be to God for his goodness and care. God has granted us as a church to take the message of the word to many towns and villages in our locality, we are currently working in Urquizo where the church is, also in the ejidos of: Brijidas, Santa Rosa and San Pablo, God has given men who want to participate in this work, as well as the church to bring the word of God every week.

Several years ago, God granted us the privilege to work with the SER group. God joined our forces; we have the same spirit and the same heart for the souls of the children around us. Their support has been a blessing. Their prayers have strengthened us. They are moral support and encouragement. Their donations to cover the needs of the ministry have been, I am sure, a pleasant odor before God as the apostle Paul says, his financial support has lightened the burden, they have been faithful and we want to be also. I thank God for the friendship we have with you dear brothers, know that you are in our prayers. Our vision is to continue working with the SER group. We want to continue bringing the word of God to each ejido and continue adding missions, my vision is to bring those blessings to more areas than just our surroundings. God has allowed me to work in the mountains of Nayarit and Durango, meeting Huichol shepherds, who have needs and, on some occasions, we have shared what we have received, as the Bible says give gracefully what we have received gracefully. I want God to allow me to be a bridge, a channel of blessing to them. We have brought toys, contributed to the construction of churches. God bless those works among the Huichol brothers, among those who are far from us. we can fulfill the mission that God has given us. I thank God for my family Hna. Rosa and my children David. Phoebe, Cesia and Keren, I pray that God will use them.

MIGUEL  SR.

My wife and I attended a Christmas program, it was held in the home of my sister. During that service, the preacher asked the question of who would like to receive Christ and my wife and I raised our hands. It was in that meeting that I was saved.  We have been saved for 32 years.

How I got to preach.

I was listening to a preacher on a cassette. He said, do something you can’t because God can. I felt the call to do a work in San Francisco. This was how we started to preach and the work started in the Ejido of San Francisco.

I carried a burden in my heart for the souls and being in San Francisco. We started going to the surrounding Ejidos to preach Christ and I started to preach in other churches that were without a pastor because a brother invited me. and so, we began to get more and more into the work of God.

The time that group S.E.R supports us

We have been working with SER for 14 years. It has been a great blessing for our ministry, because not only your prayers but your financial support has helped us enough to do the work and keep us constantly in the ministry. The truth is we are very grateful for everything you do for us and God.

my vision.

my vision started when I was invited to a conference in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, there I saw a system that I liked. The Asian routes. Paul´s missionary trips. (Acts)

I wanted God to show me something like that.

from that moment, my wish was for the church to be the center and to go to the other communities around and bring them to the one and only church.

That has always been my vision. In the time I was able, we started 4 ministries.

Miguel Jr.

We are very grateful for your prayers.  We know that you care about us because of the unconditional support that you show us. Receive cordial greetings and a hug from my family and church.

I was saved at the age of 10, when my parents started attending church.  In a youth camp I gave my life to the Lord to serve Him. In the year 2005 I started studying in a bible school to prepare myself to teach about the Lord in a better way.

We finished bible school and we returned to the church where dad was pastoring. I was just helping him in church and was not so involved in the things of God. As time passed, my dad got sick and that challenged us to work and get more into the ministry, but dad recovered from his illness and we are not very involved in the church again.

A month after I was married, my dad became sick again. This time it was more serious than the first time and as a result of it, we had to get more involved in the church.

Maybe God was calling us and we did not heed the call and this was the way that God showed us that we had to start working in His ministry. We already have 6 years of leading the church. They have not been the easiest years but thank God we keep on.

thank God for the generous heart you have for us and the work that is done in these ejidos.  Your support has been and is part of the ministry because we count on your prayers, also with material for the children and toys to share with them every Christmas. and well also with the groceries we have been giving during these times. They are a great blessing and very helpful

We have a burden first to restore the church. Thank God that little by little it is happening.

Continue with the purpose of strengthening the work in the ejido 10 de mayo and in the ejido San Francisco. With God’s help find one who will take 100% charge in each village.

In order to be able to do so, we will be winning souls, motivating the brothers to get more and more involved in the work.

we are praying to be able to reach further.

May the Lord guide us and help us so that His work grows every day.

PASTOR JOZIEL

My name is Joziel Ramirez Pelayo. I am 31 years old. I was born in a Christian home with pastor parents. At the age of 8, I accepted Christ. When one day my grandfather on my mother’s side spoke to me about Christ and explained the gospel to me and at that moment I understood and gave my life to Christ.

Since I was a child, I liked sports a lot, and in my youth, soccer became my passion.

On January 2, 2006, my life changed completely when I had a car accident causing serious injuries that put my life at risk.

It was at that moment when I saw the power of God manifested in my life, the doctors gave me only a few hours to live due to the seriousness of my injuries, but the prayers of my parents and many people were heard by God,

From that moment I understood that my dreams of being a soccer player had ended because God had planned something even better for me.

I have spent 16 years of struggles and battles serving God. I have shared my testimony in many places winning young people for Christ by showing them the purpose that God has for our lives.

And throughout all this time and despite my disability, God has blessed me greatly. I was able to finish my professional career, get married and start a family. And currently for several years I have been serving God with the children’s ministry.

This is a summary of what God has done in my life over 16 years in which I have been through a lot of suffering but God has always been with me. I am very happy with the ministry of the SER club that thanks to it I can bring blessings to more people and children, since my purpose and goal is to serve God at all times and one day have the opportunity to start a mission somewhere to share the word of God.

PASTOR JOEL

I was born 54 years ago with the blessing of being born into a Christian home where we were taught and guided by the word of God through our parents. However, this made me think that the fact of being born into a Christian home made me a Christian. Well, I did everything a Christian does. I sang, prayed and believed that I was behaving well and believed that the day I died I was going to go to heaven. At the age of 14 in a Christian youth camp I received Christ as my savior after seeing and hearing the old movie “The Burning Hell” I realized that I was lost that I was only religious and was headed for hell. That day I realized that I was a sinner and accepted Christ as my only Savior. At the age of 17, my mother passed away. Minutes before she died, she told me that there was nothing better than living for and serving Christ. Those words impacted me so much that she encouraged me to go to a Bible Institute to prepare myself to serve Christ Jesus. To bring His word of salvation to other people. I thank God very much for my pastor father for more than 50 years and to my mother who although the Lord called her very young was a great example for me and my brothers. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:3

PASTOR DENNIS

MY CALL FOR SALVATION.

At the age of 13, with the loss of my mother, my behavior took a 180-degree turn, from being a child with good grades and recognition of good achievement, I became a young man with bad behavior in high school, disrespecting the teachers and when I entered high school I began to acquire some vices such as cigarettes and beer and in my heart I harbored hatred towards God for having taken my mother and hatred towards my father for the treatment he gave me and my mother.

This hatred led me to be a combative person. I began to go out to the streets to hang out with the wrong people and got into many street fights.  The time came when they began to look for me to end my life.  I left my city to hide in the city of Monterrey, Nuevo León state where God had different plans for me. I wanted to continue in the same vices and with bad company touring the dens of the city but God began to close all these doors. At the age of 20, because of the prayers of my family and the Christian aunt where I came to take shelter, I received Christ as my personal savior. She invited me to church so I no longer had a choice. One day I agreed to go to church and this was around November 2000, which was where I remembered when I was little my mother took me to church and I remembered a song called “God is here”.  I only remember that I did not stop crying and His presence felt stronger in my being and without knowing it He was calling me. God was using my brothers in Christ. They shared with me the plan of salvation where I accepted Christ as my personal savior.

 MY CALL TO THE MINISTRY.

Having received Christ in the year 2,000, I began to discipline myself by obeying the Lord in baptism and being an active member in the church, becoming youth president and later, according to the gift of God in the preaching of the word, I became a youth pastor. Later, God placed a burden on my heart for my hometown. During the summer vacations, I began to bring Bible schools to the children of my city and seeing the response of the children and the hunger to know more about God, the Lord sent me as missionary in 2004 we started a team to come every 15 days to the city of Frontera Coahuila then every week and so on until finally in 2008 I was ordained as a pastor to formally start what is now known as the Jericó Baptist Church in Ciudad Frontera. Two years later in 2010 I married my wife María de la Luz Benavente Flores to whom we have two daughters and two precious sons who are our arrows that we will launch to the world to impact nations.

THE VISION THAT GOD HAS GIVEN US.

Being a church of members who Know Christ, (saved) Growing in Christ (disciple) and Share Christ (Send) we will achieve this in the children by opening soup kitchens where we will provide them with physical food and biblical teaching, that is, spiritual food, and offering society a better standard of living by putting at their disposal talents and skills that the Lord has given us, such as music classes and English classes, this in different places such as rancherias and in the neighborhoods where there are low-income sectors, and through these children reach families and restore them with the power of God’s word.

PASTOR  JUANITO

TESTIMONY

I thank God that at the age of 10; I received Jesus in my heart as Lord and Savior in a Baptist church in Saltillo. But the devil made my parents separate and I went with my mom and we left the church and I spent 10 years in the world on drugs and vices. I thank God for a brother named Ramiro who God used for me to return to the road, and at that moment I made the decision to work for our God and I made the decision to enter an institute which was in Saltillo under the charge of our pastor Abel Rodríguez pastor of the Fuente de Luz Baptist Church and we prepared 4 years in the institute. In the second year my pastor Abel Rodríguez took us on a missionary trip to Mazapil Zacatecas and in that year he took us to Francisco Villa municipality of Mazapil Zacatecas since there was no pastor for some years and when we arrived we looked the place and the people realized that there was a great need. God put it in my heart to work in this village. I went on vacation to the ejido of Francisco Villa and I stayed for 2 months and I began to preach the Word of God and have fellowship with the people and children and I began to have a Bible club with the children and services with the people and after that I returned to the institute to continue preparing myself. After that I talked with my pastor to be able to continue visiting and we came to the decision to go every 15 days and my church and another church began to support me for the truck to be visiting the ejido every 15 days. Later God began to work in our hearts for my wife and in I to unite in marriage and make it possible for us to totally go live there so I graduated from school and spent 6 months preparing everything for the wedding the date came February 14, 2014 and we got married. After that, 15 days passed and we went to live in Pancho Villa, municipality of Mazapil, Zacatecas, and then we lived for a few years. Later, I met Pastor Misael from the Gayegos ejido, who supported us for a year in Francisco Villa, since we had to go out due to illness and other matters at that time Pastor Misael went to work with the children and people, and thanks to God for the SER group that supported him so that the trips were made were to Francisco Villa and March 21. Later, Pastor Misael and I return and we begin to work together and thank God that God placed in Pastor Misael’s heart the need for a church. thanks to God and SER, the church has now been built and it is a great blessing by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ we continue to serve in this place by the grace of God we continue to serve for 10 years now and now it gives us the opportunity that through Pastor Misael and SER we started working on March 21 Municipality of Mazapil Zacatecas Thanks be to God for SER because they also continue to support us financially to continue visiting this ejido, thanks to God. Now is the time for us to start visiting 2 other ejidos, Los Angeles Dam and Rumaldo Los Indios.

I thank God for the blessing that he gives me to be serving in Francisco Villa, the municipality of Mazapil Zacatecas. Thanks to God For 10 years of working in this area. Thanks to God for the blessing that He gave us to join the SER group. Each offering that has been given to us for the service of our Lord Jesus Christ has allowed us to give food to each boy and girl from the Francisco Villa and March 21 villages, and above all to give them spiritual food that is the Word of God. Thanks be to God for the SER group. The economic support has been a great blessing and above all your prayers, a great blessing, may God continue to bless and use you and God continue to put the desire as well as the doing to continue supporting the work of our Lord Jesus Christ

SISTER PATY

I live in Melchor Muzquiz Coahuila. I am married to my husband Rubén Villanueva Castillo. We have 3 children, Rubén Alejandro, Susana Patricia and Yesika Noemi. The 3 have already been saved and my daughters have already been baptized Testimony: We are from     Muzquiz Coahuila but for a long time we lived in the city of Acuña Coahuila in 1999. We lived for a time in the Mtz y Mtz neighborhood, one day taking a walk with my 2 children Alex and Susy we went past a small room made of wood and it caught our attention and we decided to go in, we went directly to the room where a teacher directed children and adults. There I met a sister full of love and kindness who desired to work with all those who surrounded her, giving her best without expecting anything in return. Her name is Sister Diana, (Donna). Who is in glory.  A very dear person, I heard her and brother Ernesto talk a lot about salvation.  I called them gringos when I saw them out there.  After a while I asked brother Ernesto… What is Salvation? I wanted to know and he explained it to me and it was because of them understood what was salvation, that it is accepting Jesus Christ in my heart, after that I made the decision to accept him in my life. In those days, 1999, later I was baptized and years after that I had to give them the news that we were moving back to Muzquiz with everything and furniture. The brothers with great good hearts, Brother Ernesto and Sister Diana, did us the favor of bringing us back home in their truck. And from then on, in 2001, I began to work as a missionary here in my house I began to work in the work of God as a missionary. I received training from 2 sisters from the church in Acuña, and there I got to know more and more, learning what the children liked (biblical stories, choirs, plan of salvation). Sign and go until God allows me.

Brothers… After a long time. August 15, 2021 My husband Rubén accepted Christ in his heart and asked to be baptized, after going through struggles and trials and being constant in prayers, my God answered our request.  The time I have been saved, following the path of the Lord, working in His work from 1999 to 2022 I have been working with the SER program. After my daughter Yesi was born in 2004, we began the ministry in Muzquiz. The SER program has been very supportive with the ministries. They have never stopped supporting in all aspects. To which I am very grateful and also for supporting my children with a scholarship for their study. Regarding the support that they send each month for food in the supermarkets everything is a little more expensive, as you know, it is almost not enough. That is why I would like you to support with a little more money $ for the work of God. And as far as the material is concerned, in my mission in the neighborhood we need stone, a portal-style floor and ceiling, as well as individual chairs. Outside in the yard since the trees have dried up and we no longer have shade. To which we chose to be inside but with the heat it will no longer be possible since there is no ventilation and it is not very pleasant to be like that, the children get desperate and do not pay enough attention. Now that we are finishing brothers, very soon we will form another group of children in another neighborhood I ask you to pray for this request so that God will put the place. Sister Patty greets you; God bless you all

Presentation letter of my testimony for the glory of God

Catherine Gpe. Orona Quiñonez (Sister Kathy)

I was born in the mountains in the State of Durango, after having spent my childhood with a lot of pain and suffering due to health problems that I had from birth, and physical disabilities, at the age of five I began to wonder where God was.

When I was 15 years old, my dad gave me a New Testament, and since he couldn’t read and I had learned a little with the help of a man named Don Tomasito, a teacher that my dad got to teach me to read; this led me to read the New Testament that he gave me and I learned it by heart but I did not understand the message that the New Testament brought, I did not understand that God had for my salvation and that of many members of my family; A few years passed and I kept remembering some songs of praise and I felt that they broke my soul… one that says “In the ark the Dove, in control of resting for my troubled soul, the Lord Jesus Christ will be” and the other praise that is called “Holy Bible , you are a treasure for me, you truly contain the divine will, you tell me what I am, who I came from and who I am going to” they shocked me too much and thinking about it I turned on the short wave radio, a small radio that I had to they had given me and I began to listen to a Pastor named José Olobatí from San Francisco California who preached the gospel of Jesus Christ and what was the gift that he had for our life, for my life and every day I listened, until one very dark night alone in that place in that battered small shack I heard the pastor who said this: It is accepting Christ in our hearts. He kept talking and inviting me and I wept abundantly and alone there between the mountains I accepted Christ in my heart as my only and sufficient Savior and from that moment I began with a fervor and love for God… I continued with more fervor studying the New Testament until that I got a complete Bible, I understood the great love and sacrifice of God for humanity and for my own life, beginning in my life a rustic, but fervent evangelization for the lost.

I continued with this fervor until today, despite all the adverse circumstances, evangelizing, beginning with my family and continuing wherever I stepped on my foot, there was the gospel carried by my lips, perhaps clumsy, but with much love and enthusiasm, with a first love that has never ended to this day. I started with the Rarámuris in the Sierra Tarahumara, the Tepehuanes, and in various communities in Durango, Jalisco, Nayarit, Sinaloa, Chihuahua. and in many other parts of Mexico and in other countries, by phone with the Spaniards, sending them letters at first, and through many other countries, I continued with the Americans, with the Colombians.

I had a job in Omnilife, which allowed me to travel to places with trips that I earned and there in any place where God allowed me to go, I continued evangelizing in a personal way, I was lucky to go to the Bahamas and with all the people I could I evangelized them, my goal was to spread the gospel as far as my feet will reach.

My desire is to reach the goal and Christ has entrusted me to reach the greatest number of souls possible and finish before my God and Savior saying at his feet: “I am a useless servant” Luke 17:10 looking face to face with my Lord Jesus Christ., also saying one of my favorite verses: “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” 2Tim.4:6-7
